My take on the product:

The product comes in a classy packaging! It comes in a metallic silver box and has a mirror finish to it. The loose powder comes in a clear plastic tub with a screw lid which is also metallic silver and has a mirror finish! phew! I agree it looks so pretty but i had such a tough time clicking pictures of this beauty since the lid is almost like a mirror. (you can finish your makeup with it LOL! just kidding.. )

The packaging is really drool worthy i would say.. i just love packaging like this! But that being said it attracts fingerprints like anything and gets dirty very easily. Since I’m such a case of OCD 😀 , i have to clean the lid every time I use it.. I just cant take it if it looks dirty 😛  The powder is covered with a nondetachable lid with holes in it just like every other loose powder but so unlike other powders it is even covered with another lid which keeps the powders intact. I love it for this, even high end ones like Laura Mercier do not have this i guess (correct me if I’m wrong!). You can really save yourself from getting your face powdered just by opening the lid, which may happen with a lot of loose powders. Lol 😀 This is so easy to use as the lid doesn’t have to be removed completely to access the powder but it is attached to the jar. You can just lift the flap up and use the powder, which is really nice or else it would have been very time consuming to use. The pictures below will help you understand much better.

The shade is Beige classic 002, and there are two other shades in this which has pink undertones and I chose the middle one which has yellow undertones to it. It is perfect for setting under eye concealer and great for setting the foundation too. The powder is very silky to touch and leaves a very satiny finish to the skin. The finish the powder gives is really nice. As the brand claims it is made of a light reflecting formula, so there is some luminosity to it which looks really nice. I like to dust it all over my face with a fluffy brush just to set the foundation and a bit more in the areas where i tend to get more oily. I usually do not like to pile up powders after foundation since i prefer a dewy look over a matte look. But if you want the foundation to be matte and you do not want the foundation to move around and you want it to stay put for a long time, you can press the powder onto your skin using a sponge or a brush. The powder is not drying and it doesn’t get cakey. It is almost invisible on the skin and just gives the perfect satiny luminous finish to the skin. And this is free of oil, paraben, alcohol and fragrance (so.. yay!! for that). I think the pricing is pretty reasonable as this is of the same price range as the other Colorbar products. But it is definitely worth it as it will take a lifetime for me to finish it up. The product is of great quality! Do give it a try!
