Let me give you some more information about the product as this might be new for some.
What is Thermal Spring Water?
Mineral springs are naturally occurring springs that produce water containing minerals, or other dissolved substances, that alter its taste or give it a purported therapeutic value.
Thermal water comes from hot springs. The water in these hot springs come from deep in the ground, where it’s heated by geothermal activity (the Earth’s natural heat)
What’s in Thermal Spring Water?
As the thermal water rises to reach the spring, it passes through rocks and soil which dissolve to add minerals to the water. The mineral content of a particular thermal water depends on where it comes from. The minerals include the ones found in your skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF), like chlorides, sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium.
The brand La Roche Posay is owned by L’oreal. And all its products are manufactured in France. This Thermal spring water comes in a can with a spray nozzle on it. The packaging is very travel friendly. I love the 50ml can which is very handy and just the right size to carry in your bag. It sprays a fine mist which is very soothing on the skin. The smell of thermal spring water is so refreshing. The feeling once you spray it on, is so soothing and refreshing. It gives you a very fresh feeling. You will get to know only when you use it! 😊
There are a lot of ways in which it can be used.
- It can be used as a toner.
- It can be used as a freshener on dehydrated, tired or dull skin to add moisture.
- It can be used before makeup to moisturise your skin.
- It can be used to dampen your beauty tools like makeup sponge or makeup brush for effortless application of foundation.
- It can be used as a makeup setting spray too.
I like to use this before make-up. It moisturises the skin and helps the foundation to glide on the skin and gives a nice flawless finish. I also like to spritz this on my makeup sponge or brush, it applies foundation beautifully and gives a dewy finish (which I love!). This is a great product with a lot of nourishing properties! Do give it a try!
